A trio of re-purposed skateboard decks, saved from the scrap heap and transformed into art. This piece links the two worlds of surf and skate, focusing on breaking waves rolling into Brighton at the old West Pier. I have used re-purposed fibreglass from surfboard manufacturing to build the structure for the breaking waves, creating the illusion of the wave coming out at the viewer.
