Paul Mortimore

Paul Mortimore is a Brighton-based graphic designer, digital director, and VJ.

His work explores the intersection of identity, performativity, and parasocial relationships. By employing innovative forms of narrative experience, his work strives to create distinctive experiences which captivate and engages audiences in new ways.

Paul's background is in commercial graphic design, starting out in 1995 cut and pasting Rock 'n' Roll posters for bands such as Red Hot Chili Peppers in Denver, USA.

Since then, his work and collaborators include Mixmag, Fabio & Grooverider, Outlook Orchestra, Royal Festival Hall, Carl Cox, Goldie, Boomtown, Burberry, BBC, Channel 4, Tim Allen (Wes Anderson Isle of Dogs), Heaven Nightclub, and Saatchi & Saatchi.

In his studio practice today, Paul holds a Master of Arts degree in Digital Direction from the Royal College of Art. He also teaches User Experience Design MA students at UAL where he is Visiting Practitioner.
